Fix You

This song really inspire me. Have a look to the lyric of this song then you will know it. Plus the melody also awesome. Great arrangement. Below is the video of Fix You song cover by Boys Avenue. (Original singer by Coldplay)

Coldplay
"Fix You"

When you try your best, but you don't succeed

When you get what you want, but not what you need
When you feel so tired, but you can't sleep
Stuck in reverse

And the tears come streaming down your face

When you lose something you can't replace
When you love someone, but it goes to waste
Could it be worse?

Lights will guide you home

And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you

And high up above or down below

When you're too in love to let it go
But if you never try you'll never know
Just what you're worth

Lights will guide you home

And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you

Tears stream down on your face

When you lose something you cannot replace
Tears stream down on your face
And I...

Tears stream down on your face

I promise you I will learn from my mistakes
Tears stream down on your face
And I...

Lights will guide you home

And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you

Bla.. Bla... Bla...

Oh God, its Saturday now. Only 1 day and few hours left before going back to campus. Aiyooo.. this will be the last holiday as a trainee teacher. But never mind, I'm done life as trainee teacher. Now looking forward for the future. This 1 week holiday was quite boring. Do you know why? My laptop crash (I mean not totally crash but only cannot launch start-up) for few days. Its quite s**** you know living without laptop nowadays (Finally fixed up on Friday by myself with help from my friend. Thankx Anip and Ecen). I can't even finished my drama and movie marathon for this week. That was one of my mission for this 1 week holiday. Gladly, one drama series only finished last night which was "How I Met Your Mother"(Only season 1 okay.  Pathetic right. My friends already watching season 6 already. urghhhh, I'm so slow like a turtle).

Let us forget a moment about the laptop. Ever heard about "Tamu Besar" before? Well, this weekend Kota Belud (my hometown) having Tamu Besar. There will be a lots of activities such as "lumba kerbau"(this one i like most hahaha). Come and see it for yourself. But sad for me just sitting in my house only because no friends to bring to (All busy). No friends to bring there equal to *BORING also. So, as usual my activity will be watching tv, playing laptop and etc. which I think can help wasting my time. Hahaha

That's all for now. BTW, have a great weekend =)

October big lose for Manchester United

Oh no... last night I've found that my favorite team was beaten with not small goals but BIG number goals. How sad for Manchester United fans out there. I can see through Facebook wall post where lots of people feel disappointed with MU match last night. Well,,, I did not watched the match but I've found the result from livescore.com. There were many yellow cards according to livescore.com and not forgotten the red card for J. Evans. Seems like many some fans out there blamed him as the factor why MU lose last night. For J. Evans, I hope that you can improve your performance.

Keep on supporting Manchester United. Moreover, the season still early. =)

The Last Day with GCF members

Last Thursday was the last time for sem 8 (including me) and sem 2 TESL seniors involve with Gaya Christian Fellowship (GCF). It was a memorable day which we will never forget. Big thanks to lecturers and GCF members for planning that farewell party. We really appreciate that. Huhuhu. I feel so sad to remember those days where we still actively involve in GCF. It was really fun. But life must go on right.

By the way, Good Luck to you all juniors. All the best for your life in Gaya. Keep on to serve God. =)

See you all again next time...

From Fit To Fat

Hello guys. Today, I just want to share about one article that I have read in the internet. It's about a journey of a man from fit to fat. From his sharing, I've know that being fat is really a big problem for people. This is because, you will face many problems like being addicted to the food (especially process food)  and hard to stop eating. In addition your confident also decreasing. So, people out there please take care your health.

This is the article that I'm talking about.

Why a personal trainer is making himself obese… on purpose

Normally, I share weight loss success stories - WooHoos!, as they’re known at FatFighterTV. But today, I want to tell you about the opposite – a fit guy who is deliberately making himself fat.

Since May, Drew Manning has gained about 70 pounds on purpose. And he’s not done yet.
Drew is a personal trainer and has always been the “fit guy.” He’s now on a journey he calls Fit 2 Fat 2 Fit where he spends six months (he has about 4 weeks left) eating  unhealthy food and not exercising, then he will take six more months to get fit again. Why? To experience for himself what it’s like to be overweight, how tough it is to lose weight, and ultimately show others how to get fit. But this is sooo extreme! And I hate that Drew is deliberately making himself unhealthy. I asked him all about it…

FatFighterTV: As someone who has always been fit, how can you stand doing this to yourself?
Drew Manning: It’s been very tough physically, mentally and emotionally to let myself go like this. The first couple of months were the hardest. I felt like I was going through withdrawals, just like any other addiction. I was jealous seeing people running, going to the gym, and being in shape.

FFTV: Are you concerned about your health?
DM: Yes, definitely. With a BP reading of 161/113 you can’t NOT be concerned. I haven’t felt in danger yet, but I still have 4 weeks left to go.  People tell me all the time to stop now, but I look at it like this…..if others can live years with these unhealthy risk factors, like high BP, glucose levels, cholesterol levels, triglycerides, etc. then I can last another 4 weeks. Plus I want to show people how living a healthy lifestyle can change all of those risk factors.

FFTV: Are you enjoying eating all those unhealthy foods?
DM: Yes and no. To some extent, all of these foods that I’m eating (sugary cereals, granola bars, juices, white breads, white pastas, sodas, crackers, chips, frozen dinners, mac n cheese, etc.) taste delicious. But then I feel like crap later on and I get hungry again and crave those same foods.

FFTV: You’ve gained about 70 pounds now since May – how do you feel?
DM: I’m to the point where I feel lethargic and uncomfortable. I definitely feel “addicted” to these foods. In the beginning, I did not like soda, but now I can’t go a day without, otherwise I’ll get the headaches, bad mood, etc.  Emotionally, it’s taken a toll on my confidence level, even in my marriage. I don’t like the way I look in public; nothing fits right; bending over to tie my shoes or clip my toe nails has become so difficult. I’ve definitely taken those things for granted.

FFTV: You mentioned that you want to gain an understanding of how hard it is to be overweight – what have you learned so far?
DM: I think the biggest thing I’ve learned is how intense and how real these food cravings are.  I think a lot of people associate the word “addiction” with drugs and alcohol, but I do believe this addiction (to America’s processed foods) is real and very similar. I know I’ll never know exactly what it’s like for every person that’s overweight and I don’t claim to, but at least I understand better than I did before when I never had to struggle with this. I hope to learn a lot more in the second half of my journey, from fat 2 fit.

Stupid Thinking

Can you think things through? When you do something, do you consider what will happen next?

If you hit your hand with a hammer, it will hurt. If you scream at people, you will not be loved. If you steal cars, you will go to jail.

If you can think in sequence, you are probably not a criminal. You can see the consequences of a crime. A criminal cannot think that far ahead.

"This is a consequence. 'If you saw off the limb you are sitting on you will of course fall.'

"Police try to bring this home often to people who have no concept of sequence; so the threat of punishment works well on well-behaved citizens and not at all on criminals since they often are criminals because they can't think in sequence." -- L. Ron Hubbard

For example, a murderer may only think about revenge. He cannot see beyond the death of the person he hates. He does not think about living in prison for 50 years.

Smart people get what they want without crime. Only criminals are stupid enough to think a crime has no consequences.

For example, if you want $500, you can just work at a job. Even at $7.00 per hour, it only takes two weeks to earn $500. You can spend it however you like, no stress, no secrets, no risks.

A criminal robs a store for $500 without thinking it through. If he's not caught right away, he must keep his crime a secret. He might need to hide. His life is no longer open, happy and trusting. For just $500, he ruins his life and reduces his chances for success.

A criminal also fails to see how he or she hurts others. A stolen car, even when insured, can take months to replace. Stolen money might represent someone's life savings and ruin their retirement years. The victims of a violent crime can suffer a lifetime of pain as the result of the criminal's act.

Street-drug users can only think about their next high. If they looked further into the future, they would see damage to their bodies, financial ruin and failed marriages. Prison time is also a real possibility; in fact, half of the inmates in US prisons are there for violating drug laws.

Only when a criminal gets smart and thinks in sequence does he or she stop committing crimes.

Small Crimes

People who commit small crimes do not think in sequence either. "If I take a few office supplies, no one will know." This person does not see the nagging feeling of guilt or the possibility of getting caught, getting fired and being labeled a criminal. This person does not see the big risks far outweigh the tiny benefit.

Crimes against your spouse, friends or family might not lead to jail time, but can be equally devastating. For example, the sequences of a sexual affair can lead to disease, blackmail, legal problems and divorce.

Even lying is a sign of stupid thinking. People who lie are shocked when no one believes them any longer. They fail to consider at least three sequences of a lie: you need to remember your lie for a long time so you do not accidentally tell the truth; if caught in your lie, you look twice as bad than if you had just admitted the truth in the first place; lying can also make you feel guilty and unhappy.

Recommendations

1. When making a big decision, think in sequence. If you do Plan A, what are the consequences? If you do Plan B, what are those consequences?

2. Teach children how to think in sequence. "If you hit your brother, what might happen? Let's ask him." "If you don't do your homework, what will happen?" "If you steal candy from the store, what might happen? What would it be like to get caught? Let's ask the store manager what would happen."

3. Talk to criminals about sequences. Help them see the bigger picture. Get them to practice thinking in sequence. As crime hurts everyone directly or indirectly, we all increase our chances of success by helping criminals get smarter.
